Okay, first of all, I am utterly disappointed in the above description of Meredith. It makes her seem a lot more bitter and nasty than she really is. Throughout the entire film (Playing By Heart, originally Dancing About Architecture, which was a better title), Meredith was never what you might call "sweet," but neither was she "mean." "Mean" was the character played by Angelina Jolie. But that's beside the point. Meredith was vulnerable and self-conscious about her love-life, but not bitter. *sigh* It always sucks to find out the character with whom you most identify in a film is seen as negative and one-dimensional by the good people at Quizilla.
