I would like to point out, however, that the information is slightly out of date. NBC, which up until recently has been the only network NOT owned by a media conglomerate like AOL Time Warner or Viacom (it was owned by GE - General Electric) has been acquired by Vivendi Universal.
Sometimes, I just have to laugh at the incredible amount of information that DOESN'T get reported - legitimate news that is trumped by What's happening on "Friends" this week? and Look! More sports! Mooooore sports!!!
Ugh.
I'm going to go back to the real world where fascist Chilean dictators are aided and supported by the U.S. gov't and where the impending global drought and ozone depletion is, in fact, significant.
