You know what sucks?
Jun. 16th, 2004 02:37 pmTyping out giant mailing lists BY HAND.
In the age of computers, high-speed internet, gigabyte processors, and late-generation software, you would THINK a program that holds a database of customers would be able to spit out a mailing list of said customers.
But noooOOOoooo!
Sure, it'll give the entire database as a mailing list. Fine, no problem, sure, you betcha. But will it give me just the patrons who attended ONE performance?
Apparently NOT.
Or rather, sure, it'll list them in NOTEPAD, in a great big HEAP of information, none of which is easily transferable to, oh, I dunno, EXCEL, or ACCESS.
*sigh* I feel terribly put-upon today. Really. If you could see my face, it would just scream "Why me?!?"
I'm done griping now. This was very cathartic!
