Know what sucks?
Sep. 13th, 2004 11:45 amTwisting/tearing/straining "something" in your knee the day before the opening show of the season. And then having to hobble around on it for 14 hours during said show. And then getting back too late to hit the CVS for ibuprofen. And then realizing it wouldn't matter, anyway, because you couldn't get back in your car if you tried.
The silver lining, of course, is that you have friends to lean on (physically and otherwise), and they drive you places and help you choose ACE bandages and ice packs. And then they drive you to the clinic when you finally give in to the need for professional counsel.
Also? You get crutches. :-P
