I know none of you have read Jeff Smith's Bone, so you won't care, but they're making it into a VIDEO GAME, and I've been jumping up and down ever since I saw the link on spinooti's blog.

Purging the sound effects...

After weeks of struggling to learn the process, days of finding creative, yet time-consuming solutions to unforeseen, frustrating technical difficulties, and hours of last-minute tweaking and polishing, the sound design for Getting Out is done!

Oh yes, my friends, it's all over with. I have one final CD to burn tomorrow morning, and THAT'S IT. Let us pray nothing goes wrong with the CD burner, shall we?

On that note, as a sort of therapeudic exercise to rid my brain of the various (read: endless and repetitive) sound effects so that I may sleep peacefully tonight, I'm transcribing every line that has been haunting me since NEW YEAR'S! ( Though I'll put them behind a cut instead of forcing my personal demons on you. )

Yeah, that'll do for now.

Any of you who live on or around Dominican's campus should definitely come see the show this weekend. It's not the happiest play ever penned, but it's cutting-edge theatre, and the acting and technical innovations are superb. In fact, you should come see it for the transformation of the Recital Hall into a prison/apartment alone. It's SO COOL.
