May. 31st, 2005 11:11 pmWithout internet access, updates are going to be pretty sporadic this summer. Unless I have a computer at work.
No time to organize this into a proper gleee! list, so here's the awesome things that have happened in the last few days:
> LAN party in Wheeling was awesome, and I made a new friend, Jen. Picked up a pirated copy of the BBC miniseries of Hitchhiker, which I haven't seen since high school. Swapped it for Firefly. Hee hee. Also got to tease Aidan quite a bit, which is always amusing. ;-)
> Parents have finally realized I am serious about the picture framing business, so they've decided to keep the frame shop and gallery as-is instead of converting it, for as long as I need. THIS IS A TOTAL GOD-THING, YOU HAVE NO IDEA.
> Saw "Sith" with my friend Chris, and though I'll always have nitpickiness over the Star Wars prequels, I enjoyed myself highly. Had a nice talk with Chris afterwards, too, and I'm looking forward to spending more time with him once both of our lives are a little less crazy.
> Scoped out summer apartment yesterday, and I'm really pleased. It's bigger than I remembered, and it has so many windows, we probably won't even need lights until after 9 p.m. every night. Should save on electricity considerably. (Actually, now that I think about it, power is covered in the rent... I think...)
