Next..... CDs!
Sep. 24th, 2005 11:02 pmYou may ask, with so much music available online, why should anyone buy CDs? I agree, in this day and age, it's pretty easy to just download any music you want. But what many people don't realize is that the audio quality of songs is often reduced, sometimes significantly. Have you ever heard a song on the radio, and then bought the CD, and noticed that the song on the CD sounds a whole lot better? That's because radio-quality music is encoded at 96 kbps or 128 kbps (kilobytes per second). CD-quality is 192 kbps or greater. Most software that copies music from CDs (into a format acceptable for the internet) rips music at radio-quality.
And I won't even get into corrupted files - pops, hissing, and the chance of downloading viruses or adware along with music.
So that's my spiel about why you should consider picking up some of this awesome music. If I sold you, GOOD. If not, no worries. I'll sell them at Coconuts or another CD reseller.
If you want copies of any of these, SPEAK UP NOW before they're sold!
( Onward! )
If any of the CDs you purchase end up not being playable, or if you're in any way dissatisfied, feel free to return them for a full refund. (Same goes for the DVDs and books, actually. I should've mentioned.)
Same shipping rules as before apply. Let me know if you have any questions!
