Kitten update
Nov. 4th, 2005 11:15 pmI should have pictures by Monday, so you can all see the adorableness that is my Kaylee.
She's a grey tabby/tortoise mix, and the sister of one of Joyce's kittens (Serenity). I brought her home today, to a completely kitten-proofed apartment.
Or so I thought.
I found out very quickly exactly how many places I forgot to dust. :-P
So after investigating every nook and cranny, we had some bonding time. Kaylee's a real cuddle-muffin, and it just slays me that she trusts me so much after only having known me for... *checks clock* ...9 hours. I went out for about half an hour to run an errand, and when I came back, she leapt into my arms and let me know in no uncertain terms that she missed me, and that I should never do that again.
Except, obviously, I will. Work and such. She's clever and adaptable, so I'm not worried.
...Hee hee, she's batting a little fluffy ball around. Get that mouse! Get it!
Er, ANYWAY, she finally figured out where her bed and food and water were, and I think she knows where the litter box is (let's hope). Joyce came over and we watched Harry Potter with a purring kitten snuggled in between us.
SO CUTE!
Okay, it's time for bed. More updates later (and let me assure you, there will be many. Consider yourselves warned!)
