So I'm going to be in Arizona for the next week or so (through the 28th). That's right; I actually get to take a vacation! Woo! I'm meeting Eric's parents (who actually live in Princeton, NJ, but are on sabbatical through August), which isn't as big a deal as some people think. :-) From everything he's told me, they seem like cool people, and I'm actually really excited to meet them.

Other things that have been happening: my grandpa's legs are still infected, and they think now that it's a staph infection, but they aren't sure. He's pretty uncomfortable most of the time, but still very sweet, shuffling around the house and making his breakfast or lunch or dinner. Seriously, he's a very slow eater, so by the time he finishes one meal, it's time to start preparing the next. :-D I love him dearly.

Nancy is doing well enough these days, too. She's tired a lot, but her migraines haven't been bothering her lately, so that's a relief. Eric and I spent a couple evenings over there this past week watching movies, eating brownies, and just talking with her. I'm so glad he gets along with my family!

Oh, in case anyone's interested, the annual Humane Society Garage Sale is next weekend (Memorial Day) - I think Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but it may only be two of those days, so check the 'net or the local paper. I only helped with set-up for it this year, so I didn't pay attention to the actual sale dates. It's going to be out at the Fair Grounds, behind Crystal Lake Park, in Kesler Hall (the big building where they usually have baked goods and all sorts of displays set up). Anyway, it you're looking for perfectly good t-shirts or books or jeans or jewelry or even fish tanks, dishes, bikes, and computers, this is the place!

Before I forget, any of you who pray, would you mind sending one up for my brother this week? He's been pretty depressed the last couple weeks, and he hasn't shown up for work or family stuff during that time. He'll get past it eventually, but he could use the positive thoughts, I think. Thanks. :-)

Work is going well, but it's crazy busy, and I'm starting to really wish I had another part-time job on top of the Krannert gig. My dad's hired me to put all of his favorite blues records onto CDs for him, which is a pretty sweet deal, considering I'm "forced" to listen to the albums as I record them. Such torture. ;-) Even so, it's only a few hours a week. Eric's looking for a part-time clerking or data entry job for the summer, too, so if anyone hears about anything that's available, will you let me know? I heart you all!

I think that's about it for General Life Stuff. I need to email some of you (Andy, Treish, Sierra, Scully) and see how you're doing, too, but it'll have to wait until I get back.

Until next week, friends! *hugs*
