Turn of phrase

Dylan (quirkybird) just posted something about the leader of the Decemberists challenging Stephen Colbert to... something.

Anyway, her comment on it was this:

"It's...it's like chocolate and caramel have challenged each other to a duel. The only thing that can happen is delicious."

And now I want to use that phrase in the course of a regaular day, and pretend I made it up, and take all the credit.
