Checking in
Mar. 6th, 2007 09:41 amGrandpa is getting better. He wants to go back to his exercise classes at Mettler this week (possibly even today), and he's able to get around pretty well under his own power, but with supervision.
Morgan (Nancy and Grandpa's dog) has yet another urinary tract infection. She's about 16 years old, and gets about two of these per month. Nancy drives her out to the vet in St. Joe every day for a shot of antibiotics.
Nancy's got a bone spur pressing (read: stabbing) into her spinal column, so driving anything but an automatic is very painful (as is walking, sitting, standing, bending, breathing...).
I'm currently driving Nancy's automatic because my keys are locked in my car, and I can't drive stick (well, I can well enough to get you to a hospital, but it'll take time).
Oh yeah, and my boss wants me to start coming in full-time for the next three weeks even though I won't be paid and I barely make my hours as it is.
Good times.
In other news, I finally convinced my dad to come over to the Mac-side, so he's all set up with a Mac Mini G4. Photoshopping pictures already. And he can fly airplanes! [/proud]
There's going to be a fundraising screening of the movie Serenity in Champaign this summer over at the Art Theatre. It's going to be the day before our wedding. Anyone wanna go with us? :-D
Hope you all are doing well. Signing off again.
