WE DID IT!
Nov. 12th, 2004 04:19 pmWe assembled the entire pit orchestra in TWO DAYS!
The woman who was supposed to do it had six weeks. Just sayin'.
I take great pride in the fact that I personally am responsible for getting the guitarist, the bassist, the drummer, and the violinist.
The only other ones we needed were piano/conductor and harmonica.
We're not using a harmonica.
Because no one in the Chicagoland area appears to PLAY the harmonica.
Arg.
Still... TWO DAYS! *dances*
Seriously, I'm not trying to brag or anything. I'm just grateful to God that this all came together. 'Cause it was looking pretty scary there for awhile.
Also, remember those sound effects I was working on? Well, it turns out I'm a pretty good hand at mixing. Who knew?
*beams*
I'm gonna go collapse now. Oh, wait, I have to drive to Champaign first. Oy.
